Tesla in the wild.

HSN came to visit for the Wienermobile race. Here he and Val are drawing a map of the backyard. Elaine would like to help and Tesla just doesn't care, as long as she's in the middle of it and someone pets her every once in a while.

This has a very Calvin & Hobbes feel to me.

Although Val will be the first to tell you that Tesla is HER cat. I'm continually amazed at Tesla's patience and acceptance of the kids' treatment. She makes no effort to move or hide from them, and will keep coming back for more well-intentioned but sometimes too rough attention.
