This will be incorporated into a big quilt for Mr. and Mrs. Blades. The only thing I did was choose the pattern and the fabric and cut the little fabric squares. My mother did all sewing. I like the pattern because it's symbolic of their lives coming together to make the most beautiful color of all (blue.) Mistablades loves green, his fiance loves yellow and when they're mixed it makes blue! Yay!

I'm especially pleased that your square turned out so well - particularly since you used scrap fabric from several random sources! Am looking forward to admiring the finished product - noting the varied and unique squares from assorted family and friends and seeing how nicely they'll 'marry'. (Note: Double-check the "green + yellow = blue" concept?)
Never mind about green and yellow equaling blue. It does in my world. My very non-artistic world. =)
