Bless you, baby!

That is what Val exclaims every time Elaine coughs or sneezes and she's been doing both rather frequently ever since picking up the cold that her older sister so kindly shared (can't! stop! the kisses!) with her.

I was up many times last night - either comforting the stuffed-up, coughing and miserable toddler (she's also teething) or nursing the snuffly baby or jolting awake to the snuffling baby's breathing, sure she was about to choke on her own snot and stop breathing.

My own nose is feeling rather congested and I've had a sore throat since yesterday. Fortunately I was able to gain some much-needed perspective at the women's Bible study I attend on Friday mornings.

Now that I've spent precious nap time typing, I think I'll go lie down. This will guarantee one or the other of them will wake up, which of course is why I've put it off... =)

  1. So true! "this will guarantee one or the other of them will wake up, which of course is why I've put it off"I always feel like I'm wasting away my few minutes of nap time, but I never have pinpointed the reason behind my procrastinating in napping myself - it's because no sooner than you lie down, they wake up!
