This entry brought to you by... Panera Bread!

Kem and I packed up the dogs and drove in to my parents town for a few days since Superman didn't get Wednesday liberty this week (no one did.) Seeing the grandparents and great-grandparents has been fun but it messes up the normal routine. Kem's been taking her naps in the van while I drive to the next stop and then I usually bring her inside asleep in her car seat and hope she keeps napping. She almost always wakes up if her car seat isn't in the van. Once she's awake there's no getting her back to pick up napping where she left off.

We had lunch with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma and by the time we left their house Kem was SO ready for a nap. She was asleep before I pulled away from the curb. I am now parked just outside Panera Bread taking full advantage of their free Wi-Fi hotspot. LOVE IT. Kem's sleeping away in the back and I'm lounging in the passenger seat getting some much-needed time to myself.

Have you ever had your skin crack and bleed due to sheer dryness? I haven't until just the other day. It took me a while to realize what it was because at first I thought Methyl had scratched my hand without me noticing somehow. While at work I'm constantly in and out of gloves and they really dry out my skin. Now I have two places on my left hand that cracked and bled a little.

  3. Yes, I've had that happen to my hands. The dry, cold air is very hard on my hands this winter. I've been using Gold Bond Ultimate healing hand lotion and it really helps and so does wearing gloves whenever I go outside.
