Fesh-aih toes. Or not.

It's finally cool enough for Kate to wear actual pajamas to bed! She is intrigued by the fact that she is unable to pull the pajama feet off her feet. Her attempts to do so distract her from remembering that she is, in fact, in bed and so she doesn't cry piteously. And when she gets tired of pulling at her pajama-encased feet then she rolls over and goes to sleep. Hooray! This will probably stop working in a few days.

I followed all the advice you gave me and I napped with Kate this afternoon. I certainly wouldn't have guessed I was that tired. So maybe that's the answer but I still feel lazy.

I'm back to thinking that we should get rid of our piano. It takes up a lot of space in our front room. It is rarely played. It hasn't even been tuned since we got it. I just can't bear the thought of a house sans piano. It's true I have a perfectly good guitar that also needs to be played and it would make sense to opt for the guitar over the piano for space-saving purposes. But to just kick the piano out? Once I get rid of it I know I'll need it right away.

  1. If you don't want a piano but still want something to play, we have that new keyboard that almost plays like a piano with it's weighted keys.
