I spoke with a genius today at the bar. He was nice enough to agree to get me a new iPod even though my stupid broken iPod decided not to appear stupidly broken at that particular moment. It seems to break only when I'm faced with a ten-hour workday and need podcasts to make the day go by more quickly. My one-year warranty expires tomorrow so I was glad to get this resolved today!

After deciding that the iPhone's keyboard isn't all that easy for me to use (sorry Caleb, but I still would rather use my phone only for talking instead of typing.) I left the Apple store and pretended I fit in among the rich stay-at-home moms (or nannies) who were strolling around the shops pushing strollers and sipping their Starbucks. Then I sat in ridiculous traffic on the way home; why on earth can't we enable 24-hr carpool lanes in this part of the state!?

Hopefully by this time tomorrow I will be the proud aunt to a baby girl! My sister-in-law is in labor as I type this. You go girls!

  1. Why are you hanging out at bars?

  2. I like your use of the semi-colon. Well done.
