BOR-ing

Internal exam today. Zero percent effaced, zero cm dilated... though my cervix is softening so that's encouraging. But this was just where I'd figured I'd be so no disappointment here. I'm betting she'll be on time or late (sorry LL!)

Next Dr. appt. is one week from today on my due date!

  1. She'll come pretty quick (within the next two weeks!) and you'll be living in a completely different world once that happens. I keep checking for superbaby news...

  2. I'm betting on Sunday. Where's the link to the date-picking money pool?

  3. Just remember to not be depressed when/if your due date happens to roll by. I was fine until three days after my due date... then I started to think that the baby was never coming. Of course with tons of people asking me when I was going to 'pop' my cheerfulness wasn't in a hurry to re-appear. Dolly came eight days late, but since I had been sure throughout the whole pregnancy that my estimated due date was off, it seemed like I was three weeks overdue instead of just eight days. Your baby will be totally worth the wait regardless of whether she comes on, before or after your due date! Besides... it's YOUR due date... she'll come when she's good and ready. :)

  5. Hi, first time commenting. I had my first baby, a girl on Feb 14th. I had nothing going on cervix-wise at my 38 week check up. When I went back for my 39 wk exam on Feb 13th, I was 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced. The dr was surprised I wasn't having any contractions. Well I went into labor around 8:15 pm and had her at 6:16 the next morning. I wasn't due until Feb 17th and was sure I would probaby go overdue. That just goes to show how fast things can happen even though I wasn't having any signs of going into labor. I didn't even have Braxton-Hicks during my pregnancy. I hope all goes well for you. My baby will be 4 weeks old this Wed already. Time flies!!
